A brief introduction to Islam "Islam" is not a new religion. The word "Islam" means "submission / surrender" to the Will of God "Allah". Muslims believe in prophets and messengers (peace be upon them all) such as: Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad (the last of the prophets and messengers).
